Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by adding an appropriately lettered penultimate subsection to read:
/ ( ) An official specified in subsection (A) only may approve the use of any aircraft owned or leased by this State, or any state agency, entity, or institution, including institutions of higher learning, if the aircraft will be used to perform official business. Further, no official, regardless of whether the official requires approval, may request the use of such aircraft unless it will be used to perform official business. For purposes of this subsection, official business does not include attending a press conference, bill signing, or political function. /
