EXPLANATION: Funds the Local Government Fund to the extent of the funds lost by eliminating the processing fee when using a credit card to pay taxes.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 110, STATE TREASURER - AID TO SUBDIVISIONS, page 500, after line 22, by adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/(AS-TREAS: Local Government Reimbursement) Political subdivisions must submit a report by October 1, 2014, to the Office of the State Treasurer of all processing fees incurred for fiscal year 2013-14 of tax payment transactions by credit and debit card. Upon receipt of the fee report, The State Treasurer shall reimburse all political subdivisions an equal amount paid for processing fees of credit and debit cards for payment of taxes./
