Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 562, after line 3, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
/ 117.___. (GP: Communications with Elected Officials) No officer or employee of an agency that receives appropriations pursuant to this act may restrict communication between an employee of the agency and an elected official. Any person attempting to restrict such communication in violation of this section may be removed for cause as provided by law and pursuant to the Constitution of this State. /
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
