EXPLANATION: Include a new section in the Healthy Outcomes Proviso for addressing Obesity statewide.
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 33,
DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES, page 424, paragraph
33.22, after line 9, by inserting an appropriately titled item
to read:
/The Department shall allocate at least $6,500,000 to be
used for obesity education for patients, reimbursement payments
for providers, and continuing education for all providers
through partnerships with the Department./
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend totals and titles to conform.
