Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:
/ SECTION __. (A)
Notwithstanding any other provision of law,
within one year of the effective date of this Section, the
Division of General Services shall remove all monuments and
memorials from the grounds of the state capitol complex and
replace them with suitable landscaping, foliage, or
sidewalks.
(B) The provisions of
this Section are known and may be cited as the "Sterile
State House Grounds Act". /

Amend title to conform.
