Amend the committee report, as and if amended, page [3147-2], by striking lines 15-18 and inserting:
/ (D) This section only applies if the the Board of Economic Advisors determines that the provisions of this section will generate sufficient economic activity of individuals with military retirement to cause state tax revenues to increase as a result of this section. The Board of Economic Advisors shall report its determination for the upcoming fiscal year to the Chairamn of the Senate Finance Committee, the Chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, and the Governor by December first of the current tax year.
(E) The department may require the taxpayer to provide information necessary for proper administration of this subsection."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor and first applies to tax years beginning after 2016. /
