Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 1, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION, page 294, after line 25, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:
/ (SDE: Coding Curriculum) Of the funds appropriated to the department for coding curriculum, the department shall ensure that each student receives age appropriate instruction in computing and coding, and teachers receive professional development. /
Renumber sections to conform.
Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
