Rep. KING proposes the following Amendment No. 8 to S. 277 (COUNCIL\DKA\277C009.DKA.SA16):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

/ SECTION      __.      Article 3, Chapter 9, Title 58 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:

     "Section 58-9-255.      Notwithstanding any other provisions of law, a wireless telecommunications provider may not require a contract as a condition to utilize the provider's wireless service." /

Renumber sections to conform.
Amend title to conform.
