Amend the Committee Report, as and if amended, Section 23-31-215(N)(2), as contained in SECTION 1, by adding after the period on line 9, page [3799-2]:
/ Notwithstanding the reciprocity requirements of subitem (1), South Carolina shall automatically recognize concealable weapons permits issued by Georgia and North Carolina. A resident of Georgia or North Carolina carrying a concealable weapon in South Carolina is subject to and must abide by the laws of South Carolina regarding concealable weapons. SLED must post on its website a comparison of the requirements to obtain a concealed weapon permit in South Carolina, Georgia, and North Carolina." /
