Amend the bill, as and if amended, page 3, by striking lines 5 through 13, in Section 56-2-105(G), as contained in SECTION 1, and inserting therein the following:
/ (G) Notwithstanding the provisions contained in subsection (B):
(1) if a municipality is located within a county that has a residential barrier sea island depicted in a Pat Conroy novel and a Jimmy Buffet song, the municipality may adopt an ordinance that provides for the operation of a golf cart at night if the golf cart is equipped with working headlights and rear lights; and
(2) if a county has a residential barrier sea island depicted in a Pat Conroy novel and a Jimmy Buffet song, the county may adopt an ordinance that provides for the operation of a golf cart at night if the golf cart is equipped with working headlights and rear lights." /
