EXPLANATION: Requirements for issuance of Outdoor Concert Venue permits
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL
PROVISIONS, page 495, after line 30, by adding an appropriately
numbered paragraph to read:
/(GP: Permitting of Outdoor Concert Venues)
In the current fiscal year, a county receiving a
distribution from funds appropriated or authorized in any
section of this act may not issue a permit for the development
of an outdoor concert venue until the permit applicant has
submitted to the appropriate state and county offices and
officials an Environmental Impact Statement and an Environmental
Mitigation Plan. The Environmental Impact Statement and
Environmental mitigation plan must, at minimum, provide
solutions to prevent sound leakage from the venue.
Upon receiving the Environmental
Impact Statement, from the funds appropriated or authorized in
this act, the appropriate state and county officials shall
provide the applicant with a proof of receipt./
