Senator SHEHEEN proposes the following amendment (DAD 1A.17 VS):
    Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 1A, DEPARTMENT OF EDUCATION - EIA, page 301, proviso 1A.17, lines 30 - 33, by striking the proviso in its entirety, and inserting /     1A.17.     (SDE-EIA: Assessment) The department is authorized to carry forward into the current fiscal year, prior year state assessment funds for the same purpose. Reimbursements shall resume in the current fiscal year for PSAT, pre-ACT or 10th grade Aspire. /    
    Renumber sections to conform.
    Amend sections, totals and title to conform.
