Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered new SECTION to read:
/ SECTION __. Article 11, Chapter 5, Title 56 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 56-5-1537. (A) When one or more highway workers are in a highway work zone and in proximity to the area, a person operating a motor vehicle in the highway work zone must illuminate his vehicle's head lamps and must not use a wireless electronic communication device, as defined in Section 56-5-3890.
(B) A person who violates this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and must be fined not more than one hundred dollars or imprisoned not more than thirty days." /
