Summary: Regulatory Freedom Act
    A BILL TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, SO AS TO ENACT THE "REGULATORY FREEDOM ACT" BY ADDING SECTION 1-23-138 SO AS TO ESTABLISH THAT A REGULATION PROMULGATED UNDER THE ADMINISTRATIVE PROCEDURES ACT EXPIRES FIVE YEARS AFTER JULY 1, 2017 OR THE EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ACT, WHICHEVER IS LATER; AND TO AMEND SECTION 1-23-120, AS AMENDED, RELATING TO THE APPROVAL OF REGULATIONS, SO AS TO REMOVE LANGUAGE REQUIRING A STATE AGENCY TO PERIODICALLY REVIEW THE REGULATIONS IT PROMULGATES.
