    AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 1-11-730, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO STATE INSURANCE PLANS, SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT THE SPOUSE OR DEPENDENT OF A PERSON KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY AFTER DECEMBER 31, 2001, SHALL CONTINUE COVERAGE UNDER THE STATE HEALTH PLAN FOR A PERIOD OF TWELVE MONTHS AND THE STATE SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR PAYING THE FULL PREMIUM COSTS AND AFTER THE TWELVE-MONTH PERIOD THE SPOUSE OR DEPENDENT IS ELIGIBLE FOR STATE-PAID PREMIUMS. - ratified title
