AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM CERTAIN STREETS IN THE CITY OF SUMTER.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Road closed

SECTION 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the State Highway System in the city of Sumter Road S-563 (College Street) from Road S-69

(Brown Street) westerly to the end; Road S-942 from Road S-563 (College Street) southerly to the end; and Roads S-1940 and S-1941 from Brockington Street westerly and easterly to the end. The rights-of-way shall revert to Morris College.

Time effective

SECTION 2. This act shall take effect upon approval by the Governor.
