AN ACT TO DIRECT THE DEPARTMENT OF HIGHWAYS AND PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO CLOSE AND REMOVE FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY SYSTEM A PORTION OF 2ND AVENUE IN THE TOWN OF KINGSTREE IN WILLIAMSBURG COUNTY.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

Road closed

Section 1. The Department of Highways and Public Transportation shall close and remove from the state highway system that portion of 2nd Avenue in the Town of Kingstree in Williamsburg County described as follows:

"Bounded on the north by lands of Santee Electric Cooperative and measuring thereon 56.30 feet more or less; on the east by lands of Santee Electric Cooperative and measuring thereon 326.5 feet more or less; on the south by the right of 2nd Avenue and measuring thereon 50 feet more or less; and on the west by Santee Electric Cooperative and measuring thereon 300.99 feet more or less."

Time effective

Section 2. This act shall take effect upon the approval by the Governor.
