TO AMEND SECTION 50-17-640, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE HOURS AUTHORIZED FOR TRAWLING SHRIMP.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 50-17-640 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Section 1265, Act 181 of 1993, is further amended to read:
"Section 50-17-640. It is lawful to trawl for shrimp in the waters of this State only during the following period as follows:
(1) opening day through September fifteenth August thirty-first: 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.;
(2) September sixteenth first through October thirty-first: 6:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.;
(3) November first through closing date: 6:00 a.m. - 7:00 p.m."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
