TO AMEND SECTION 26-1-30, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE TWENTY-FIVE DOLLAR FEE FOR A NOTARY PUBLIC COMMISSION, SO AS TO INCREASE THE FEE TO FIFTY DOLLARS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 26-1-30 of the 1976 Code is amended to read:
"Section 26-1-30. The fee for the issuance or renewal of a commission is twenty-five fifty dollars, collected by the Secretary of State as other fees."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 1996.
