A JOINT RESOLUTION TO PROVIDE THAT THE SCHOOL DAY OF OCTOBER 16, 1996, MISSED BY THE STUDENTS OF MCCROREY-LISTON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL OF THE FAIRFIELD COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT DUE TO THE LACK OF WATER IN THE SCHOOL, IS EXEMPTED FROM THE MAKE-UP REQUIREMENT OF THE DEFINED MINIMUM PLAN.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
School day exempt
SECTION 1. The school day of October 16, 1996, missed by the students of McCrorey-Liston Elementary School of the Fairfield County School District due to the lack of water in the school, is exempted from the make-up requirement of the defined minimum plan.
Time effective
SECTION 2. This joint resolution takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
