TO EXPRESS THE DEEPEST SYMPATHY OF THE MEMBERS OF THE SOUTH CAROLINA SENATE TO THE FAMILY OF MR. GEORGE WILBUR CRAWFORD OF BURNETTOWN WHO DIED DURING THE LEGISLATIVE INTERIM.
Whereas, the members of the Senate were deeply saddened to learn of the death of Mr. George Wilbur Crawford of Burnettown who died during the legislative interim on December 20, 1996; and
Whereas, Mr. Crawford was a native of Bath, a devoted husband and father, a respected citizen of his community, and was retired after many years as an employee of the Clearwater Finishing Plant; and
Whereas, he was a faithful member of Lakeside Baptist Church, and a member of the "60 Plus" Sunday School class; and
Whereas, the members of the Senate, by this resolution, would like to express their deepest sympathy to his mother, his widow, children, other family members, and friends upon the death of this truly fine man. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the Senate:
That the members of the South Carolina Senate hereby express their deepest sympathy to the family of Mr. George Wilbur Crawford of Burnettown who died during the legislative interim.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to his widow, Mrs. Mary Sharpe Crawford.
