A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 2-17-16 SO AS TO REQUIRE A LOBBYIST TO WEAR A NAME TAG THAT IDENTIFIES WHO HE REPRESENTS WHILE IN THE LOBBY OF THE STATE HOUSE OR AT THE CAROLINA PLAZA.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION 1. The 1976 Code is amended by adding:

"Section 2-17-16. A lobbyist, while in the lobby of the State House or at the Carolina Plaza, is required to wear a name tag which identifies who he is representing."

SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
