TO AMEND SECTION 12-56-20, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO DEFINITIONS FOR PURPOSES OF THE SET OFF DEBT COLLECTION ACT, SO AS TO INCLUDE A DESIGNATED AGENT OF THE NAMED CLAIMANT AGENCIES AS A "CLAIMANT AGENCY".
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 12-56-20(1) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 347 of 1996, is further amended to read:
"(1)
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
