AN ACT TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-80, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN ANDERSON COUNTY, SO AS TO REDESIGNATE CERTAIN PRECINCTS AND CHANGE THE MAP DESIGNATION ON WHICH THE LINES OF THOSE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
Designation of precinct lines
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-80(B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 288 of 1998, is further amended to read:
"(B) The precinct lines defining the above precincts in Anderson County are as shown on the official map prepared by and on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board designated as document P-0700 and as shown on certified copies of the official map provided to the State Election Commission and the Anderson County Board of Voter Registration by the division."
Time effective
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
Ratified the 16th day of May, 2000.
