TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-260, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO VOTING PRECINCTS IN FLORENCE COUNTY, SO AS TO COMBINE THE BACK SWAMP AND QUINBY PRECINCTS AND REDESIGNATE A MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE LINES OF THESE PRECINCTS ARE DELINEATED.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-260(A) and (B) of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 23 of 1999, is further amended to read:
"(A) In Florence County there are the following voting precincts:
Back Swamp-Quinby
Brookgreen
Cartersville
Claussen
Coles Crossroads

(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) are as shown on the official map designated P-4199 P-4100 and on file with the Division of Research and Statistical Services of the State Budget and Control Board and as shown on certified copies provided to the State Election Commission and the Board of Voter Registration of the county by the Division of Research and Statistical Services."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
