COMMENDING JOANN CAMPBELL OF ANDERSON COUNTY FOR HER OUTSTANDING SERVICE TO THE STATE OF SOUTH CAROLINA AND WISHING HER SUCCESS AND HAPPINESS FOLLOWING HER RETIREMENT.
Whereas, Joann Campbell of Anderson County has had twenty-six years of continuous service to the State of South Carolina, beginning with her work for the South Carolina Vocational Rehabilitation Department in 1976; and
Whereas, after one year with Vocational Rehabilitation, Ms. Campbell moved to the Tenth Circuit Solicitor's Office and served there until 1991; and
Whereas, she began her current work as secretary to Family Court Judge Tommy B. Edwards in July, 1991, and has been there ever ; and
Whereas, her service to the State has been exemplary and has been distinguished by her care for her coworkers and her courtesy toward, and concern for, the people of the Palmetto State; and
Whereas, we are delighted to have the opportunity to recognize this efficient and dedicated lady in this special manner, as she retires from public service in 2002. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives, the Senate concurring:
That the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina, by this resolution, commends Joann Campbell of Anderson County for her outstanding service to the State of South Carolina and wishes her success and happiness following her retirement.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be forwarded to Ms. Joann Campbell.
