TO ELIMINATE THE LIMITATION OF TWELVE THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR EACH COUNTY STIPEND APPROPRIATED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY DISBURSED TO MEMBERS OF COUNTY REGISTRATION BOARDS AND COUNTY ELECTION COMMISSIONS.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the limitation of twelve thousand five hundred dollars for each county stipend appropriated by the General Assembly disbursed to members of county registration boards and county election commissions is eliminated.
SECTION 2. This act takes effect July 1, 2002.
