A BILL

TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY REPEALING SECTIONS 12-6-530 AND 12-6-540 BOTH RELATING TO THE IMPOSITION OF THE CORPORATE INCOME TAX.

Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:

SECTION    1.    Sections 12-6-530 and 12-6-540 of the 1976 Code are repealed.

SECTION    2.    This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor and applies for taxable years beginning after 2007.
