VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 39-1-120 SO AS TO PROHIBIT A SALES REPRESENTATIVE OF A PHARMACEUTICAL COMPANY FROM SELLING OR MARKETING PHARMACEUTICAL PRODUCTS ON THE PREMISES OF A HOSPITAL.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Chapter 1, Title 39 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 39-1-120. A sales representative of a pharmaceutical company is prohibited from selling or marketing pharmaceutical products on the premises of a hospital."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
