TO AMEND THE CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, BY ADDING SECTION 23-31-245 SO AS TO PROVIDE THAT A PERSON WHO IS AUTHORIZED TO CARRY A CONCEALED WEAPON OR ANOTHER FIREARM MAY NOT BE PROHIBITED FROM CARRYING A CONCEALED WEAPON OR ANOTHER FIREARM OUTSIDE A MILITARY RECRUITING FACILITY.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Article 4, Chapter 31, Title 23 of the 1976 Code is amended by adding:
"Section 23-31-245. Notwithstanding another provision of law, a person who is authorized to carry a concealed weapon or another firearm may not be prohibited from carrying a concealed weapon or another firearm outside a military recruiting facility."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
