VERSIONS OF THIS BILL
TO RECOGNIZE AND HONOR COASTAL MONTESSORI SCHOOL OF GEORGETOWN COUNTY FOR ITS COMMENDABLE STANDARDS IN EDUCATION AND TO CONGRATULATE THE STUDENTS, PARENTS, FACULTY, STAFF, AND ADMINISTRATION ON THE SCHOOL'S SUCCESSFUL 2016-2017 SCHOOL YEAR.
Whereas, the South Carolina House of Representatives is pleased to learn that Coastal Montessori School has accomplished many of its goals for the year; and
Whereas, Coastal Montessori School received approval to expand its program to middle school, which already has added seventh grade (2016-2017) to the school and will add eighth grade this fall. In addition, twenty-seven students, staff, and parent chaperones spent a week in New York City at the Montessori Model United Nations Conference. Further, Coastal Montessori received a certificate of occupancy for a new building and started a recycling, composting, and gardening program; and
Whereas, fully expecting continued excellence from this standout school, Representative Carl Anderson of House District 103 takes great pleasure in recognizing the fine educational achievements of Coastal Montessori School for the 2016-2017 school year at the ceremony he is sponsoring in Georgetown on May 4, 2017. Now, therefore,
Be it resolved by the House of Representatives:
That the members of the South Carolina House of Representatives, by this resolution, recognize and honor Coastal Montessori School of Georgetown County for its commendable standards in education and congratulate the students, parents, faculty, staff, and administration on the school's successful 2016-2017 school year.
Be it further resolved that a copy of this resolution be presented to representatives of Coastal Montessori School.
