TO AMEND SECTION 7-7-290, AS AMENDED, CODE OF LAWS OF SOUTH CAROLINA, 1976, RELATING TO THE DESIGNATION OF VOTING PRECINCTS IN GREENWOOD COUNTY, SO AS TO RENAME CERTAIN PRECINCTS, AND TO REDESIGNATE THE MAP NUMBER ON WHICH THE NAMES OF THESE PRECINCTS MAY BE FOUND AND MAINTAINED BY THE REVENUE AND FISCAL AFFAIRS OFFICE.
Be it enacted by the General Assembly of the State of South Carolina:
SECTION 1. Section 7-7-290 of the 1976 Code, as last amended by Act 85 of 2017, is further amended to read:
"Section 7-7-290. (A) In Greenwood County there are the following voting precincts:
Angel Oaks Crossing
Ashley River Run
Bee's Ferry
Fairhope Ferry
Graham's Glen
Grandiflora Glen
Greenwood No. 1
Greenwood No. 2
Greenwood No. 3
Greenwood No. 4
Greenwood No. 5

(B) The precinct lines defining the precincts in subsection (A) are as shown on the official map designated as document P-47-17 P-47-18 on file with the Revenue and Fiscal Affairs Office and as shown on copies provided to the Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County. The official map may not be changed except by act of the General Assembly.
(C) The Board of Voter Registration and Elections of Greenwood County shall designate the polling places of each precinct."
SECTION 2. This act takes effect upon approval by the Governor.
