The Oversight Committee requests information on the following topics as a follow up to the August 13, 2019, public input meeting: (1) state salary schedule for school bus drivers; (2) virtual education program - teacher evaluations and class size; and (3) special education services in the three schools the agency directly manages.

Subcommittee requests information on the Paperwork Reduction and Streamlining Report the Department of Education (DoE) submitted to the General Assembly as a follow up to a Subcommittee meeting with the Department of Corrections.
Department of Education letter states in part that the wording used in the report may warrant clarification. While, there were no responses from teachers or school level administrators from the Palmetto Unified School District (operated within SCDC), three district level administrators did submit responses.
