EXPLANATION:
Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 510, after line 3, by adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:
/ (GP: Annual Audit Report) In the current fiscal year, a municipality receiving a distribution from the local government fund pursuant to this act, shall submit a copy of the annual financial audit report to the Comptroller General no later than the end of the municipality's fiscal year. If the report is not timely filed, or within the time extended for filing the report, funds distributed by the Comptroller General to the municipality in the current fiscal year must be withheld pending receipt of a copy of the report. /
