Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding a new subsection to be appropriately lettered to SECTION 2 to read:

The Special Committee may not accept and the General Assembly may not approve any offer to purchase the assets of the Public Service Authority or any portion thereof where the prospective purchaser is exempt from or will be exempt from paying South Carolina real or business property taxes in any amount. /
