Amend the bill, as and if amended, in SECTION 2, by adding an appropriately lettered new subsection to Section 44-41-830 to read:

/ (__) Notwithstanding another provision of law, a physician may perform, induce, or attempt to perform or induce an abortion on a pregnant woman if the pregnancy is the result of rape or incest, and the probable post-fertilization age of the fetus is fewer than twenty weeks. /
