Rep. S. Jones proposes the following amendment (LC-3604.DG0019H):

Amend the joint resolution, as and if amended, by striking SECTION 3 and inserting:

SECTION X. From funds disbursed to the State in the American Rescue Plan Act of 2021, there is appropriated $586,633,226 of remaining American Rescue Plan Act funds to the Department of Revenue to provide a one-time tax rebate to individual taxpayers. The refund for each tax return must be in an equal amount. This SECTION may be referred to as the South Carolina Personal Infrastructure Plan.
