Reps. McDaniel and Rivers propose the following amendment (LC-3728.HDB0076H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 2, Section 59-29-620, by adding a subsection to read:

(F)Matters specifically encompassed within subsection (D)(3) and exempt from the complaint process outlined in Section 59-29-630 include instruction that "Klansmen and local police killed members in the Freedom Summer project for fighting for their right to vote."
