Rep. May proposes the following amendment (LC-3868.WAB0005H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Section 53-3-270 and inserting:

Section 53-3-270.(A) The second Saturday in November of each year is designated as "Women in Hunting and Fishing Awareness Day" in South Carolina.

(B) As used in this section, "women" means:

(1) individuals whose sex at birth was female;

(2) individuals of the sex who are typically capable of bearing young or producing eggs;

(3) individuals who possess two X chromosomes in the cell nuclei; or

(4) some combination of items (1) through (3).
