Rep. Thigpen proposes the following amendment (LC-4710.SA0017H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, Section 41-35-50, by adding an item to read:

 (C) A person who lives in a county that has a higher unemployment rate than the seasonal statewide adjusted unemployment rate may apply to the department for extended weeks of unemployment based on the number of weeks corresponding with the unemployment rate in his county as allowed in subsection (A).
