Senator Cash proposes the following amendment (SR-423.JG0016S):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 4, by striking Section 44-53-2560 and inserting:

 Section 44-53-2560. Members of the General Assembly and immediate family members, as defined in Section 8-13-100(18), may not operate, directly or indirectly, receive financial payments of any kind from, or directly own a medical cannabis establishment until eight years after the date of the first sale of cannabis products pursuant to the provisions of this act, and are prohibited from being a medical cannabis establishment agent or a medical cannabis establishment principal.
