Rep. McDaniel proposes the following amendment (LC-5118.HA0043H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, by adding an appropriately numbered SECTION to read:

SECTION X.  For any project referenced in Section 58-33-195, the electrical utility must provide a detailed explanation of costs related to the project to the commission. These costs must be made available to the public, unless otherwise prohibited by law. The commission must not authorize any rate increase for the electrical utility for any of these projects except for the amounts which the electrical utility has identified and designated specific amounts and details as to how the money would be spent on the project.
