 Senator MATTHEWS proposes the following amendment (5100R002.KMM.MBM.DOCX):

 Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 108, PUBLIC EMPLOYEE BENEFIT AUTHORITY, page 505, after line 36, by adding an appropriately numbered new proviso to read:

/108.___ (PEBA: Weight Loss Drug Coverage) For the Plan Year beginning in January 2025, the State Health Plan shall provide coverage for (1) glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) agonists, also known as GLP-1 receptor agonists, incretin mimetics, or GLP-1 analogs; and (2) dual GLP-1/GIP receptor agonists that are prescribed for weight loss./
