Rep. King proposes the following amendment (LC-1046.AHB0083H):

Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 1, by striking Section 2-19-5(A)(3)(a) and (b) and inserting:

   (a) one must be a retired judge from the statewide judicial system who shall serve as chairman; one must be a nonmember of the South Carolina Bar; and
   (b) the remaining appointees must be members in good standing of the South Carolina Bar with at least ten years' experience in the practice of law.
