EXPLANATION:

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part 1B, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 560, after line 29, by adding an appropriately numbered paragraph to read:

/ (GP: Prohibition of funds for lobbyist ) No state agency, instrumentality, or department may expend funds appropriated or authorized in this act to contract with a lobbyist as defined in Section 2-17-10(13) of the S.C. Code./

Amend totals and titles to conform.
