Senator Climer proposes the following amendment (LC-176.WAB0005S):
Amend the bill, as and if amended, SECTION 5, by striking Section 40-2-35(C)(1)(4)(b) and inserting:
(b) Applicants who have completed a post-baccalaureate degree in accounting, taxation, laws in taxation, or business administration,a post-baccalaureate degree, or a baccalaureate degree and an additional thirty semester credit hours of education, the applicant must also satisfy the experience requirements in subsection 40-2-35(G)(1)(b), which requires one year of relevant experience.Amend the bill further, SECTION 8, by striking Section 40-2-35(G)(1) and inserting:
(1) In addition to meeting the requirements of Section 40-2-35(C)(1), (2), and (3), an applicant shall attain the following experience:Amend the bill further, SECTION 8, by striking Section 40-2-35(G)(1)(a) and (b) and inserting:
(a) applicants who have completed a baccalaureate degree and meeting the requirements of subsections (C)(2) and (3) must complete two years of relevant professional experience;(b) applicants who have completed a post-baccalaureate degree in accounting, taxation, laws in taxation, or business administration, and meeting the requirements of subsections (C)(2) and (3)a post-baccalaureate degree, or a baccalaureate degree and an additional thirty semester credit hours of education, must complete one year of relevant experience;
