Rep. HARRIS proposes the following Amendment No. to H.4025 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: Prohibits the Department of Commerce from administering economic incentive funds to companies that offer benefits that include elective abortions and/or travel for abortions

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 50, DEPARTMENT OF COMMERCE, page 403, after line 33, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/(CMRC: Incentive Regulation) In the current fiscal year, the department shall not use state-appropriated funds to provide economic incentives to companies that offer employee benefits that include elective abortions and/or travel for abortions./

Amend totals and titles to conform.
