Rep. BEACH proposes the following Amendment No. to H.4025 as introduced by Ways & Means

EXPLANATION: State agencies shall not file or particpate in the H-1B visa program.

Amend the bill, as and if amended, Part IB, Section 117, GENERAL PROVISIONS, page 554, after line 21, by adding an appropriately numbered proviso to read:

/(GP: H1-B Visa Program) For the current fiscal year, no state agency shall utilize or participate in the H-1B visa program under the U.S. Department of Labor for the hiring of employees./

Renumber sections to conform.

Amend totals and titles to conform.
