H 2363 General Bill, By P.B. Harris and J.W. Tucker
    A Bill to amend Section 12-35-90, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, relating to definitions for purposes of the sales and use tax, so as to include within the definition of "retailer" and insurance company selling motor vehicles acquired in settlement of claims and to amend the 1976 Code by adding Section 12-35-1155 so as to impose the sales and use tax on the gross proceeds of the sale of motor vehicles acquired by insurance companies in settlement of claims.
