    A Bill to amend Chapter 3, Title 16, Code of Laws of South Carolina, 1976, by adding Article 13 so as to establish a program to compensate victims of crime and certain other persons who have suffered as a result of crime, and to amend Sections 24-23-210, 24-23-220, as amended, and 24-23-230, relating to the Community Corrections Program and the funding thereof, so as to further provide for the system of assessments which are made against persons committing certain crimes and to provide that a specified amount of such assessments shall be used to help fund the Victim's Compensation Program established above.-at
